Passing Judgment: The Jonas Brothers

For being so young, the Jonas Brothers -- that's Nick, Joe and Kevin if you don't know already -- are surprisingly immune to outright fashion fumbles, and it was really no different with these boys last night at the American Music Awards (hats off to their stylist). That's not to say they totally nailed it, but we do like how they pull off dressing as an ensemble and peppering their combined look with dashes of individuality.

From left to right, Nick takes best dressed of the group with the in-season gray plaid three-piece suit. The tie is just a tad too wide for our tastes, but, for being the youngest of the threesome, he's showing the most maturity. Joe, in the middle, plays the pinstripe well, and we love the lavender shirt, even it is make him look more like Wynona Rider than he already does. And Kevin there on the end would probably benefit from a one or two-button suit rather than the boxy double breasted he's wearing, but it rounds out the retro feel the guys are going for, so we'll allow it. And, like brother Nick, his tie is fun, but just a little jarring considering the rest of the outfit(s). Still -- they're totally cute so, really, who cares.

nice to see performers who have not trashed their bodies with god awful tatoos and still have their own teeth...
