Emma Watson Bewitches Burberry

6a00d8341ca4b653ef011570e5886f970b-800wi

While the boys look sharp as ever in Burberry's new F/W ad campaign, how could you not be entirely entranced by the radiant Emma Watson? Shot by Mario Testino, she of buttoned up, tweeny Harry Potter fame now looks chic, and, yes, mature. At the tender age of 19, Miss Watson is a chicly potent antidote to the sloppy, extended teenagehood splashed across television.

Liam Gallagher Launches "Pretty Green" Line

Picture 14

With all the fuss Liam Gallagher made about launching his own fashion line, Pretty Green, because the clothing he really wanted to wear he "can't really get," you'd have expected that what he came up with would have something to raise an eyebrow about. As it turns out, now that Pretty Green has hit an online store, it turns out it's really pretty boring.

"Classic parka, classic shoes, no mad gear, just really plain blacks, browns, nothing wild, not jean Paul Gautier, just cool," Gallagher says in the online video showcasing the line. (He also gets fashion insider-y: "I’m not into that skinny look, fucking get rid of that shit, those pointy shoes, that come at you like a snooker cue, got a license for them bastards or what"). So, basically, what you get from Pretty Green is pretty much what you get everywhere else, which makes his constant ranting about the mind-blowing collection to be expected even more laughable, the clothes more anticlimactic.

H&M Welcomes Spring With...Vincent Gallo?

6a00d8341ca4b653ef01127963eb1228a4-800wi

A man of questionable report, Vincent Gallo cleans up quite nicely. Evidence: the new H&M spring ad campaign featuring the indie actor alongside Shalom Harlow and Eva Herzigova in spring classics - prints! khaki! color! Gallo et al are arranged amid equally engaging scarlet geometry. His appeal may never be fully understood, but even the greatest against-the-grainers can make spring fashion provocative.
